Emphasis: Our beginner level with a focus on independent forward progression. Focus will be on gross motor skills appropriate for swimming. Skills taught will include going underwater, independent floats (back and front) and swimming independently for 35 – 40 feet.
2024-2025 School Year Session

Goldfish 2

Emphasis: Our second beginner level is for students who are already comfortable and confident in the water. Students must be able to swim 35 feet alone. Focus will be on increasing distance for Freestyle to two lengths (70 feet) and an intro to Backstroke. To pass this level students must be able to swim both Freestyle and Backstroke one length of the lessons pool.
2024-2025 School Year Session: Registration will open on June 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM

Bluefish 1

Description: Our first intermediate level is for students who who can already swim Freestyle and Backstroke. Focus will be on learning rotary breathing (for Freestyle) and learning proper breaststroke kick technique. Passing this level requires that students demonstrate Freestyle and Backstroke for three laps as well as proper breaststroke kick for two laps.
2024-2025 School Year Session

Bluefish 2

Description: Our second intermediate level is focused on completing the Breaststroke ‘pull’ and putting both leg and arm coordination together. To pass from this level students need to demonstrate proficient knowledge of Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke for three laps.

Pre-Team 1

Description: This group is for students who can demonstrate Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke proficiently. The focus of this class will be on learning Butterfly. Aside from an introduction to Butterfly, students will also focus on increasing endurance and improvement on Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke.
2024-2025 School Year Session

Pre-Team 2

Description: This group is for students who know all four strokes (proficiently). Focus will be on building endurance, increasing stamina and speed. Dives and turns will be taught and further correction of technique will be stressed.
