SWIM LESSONS INSTRUCTOR

General Summary

Leads group, private and semi-private swim lessons to all ages and ability levels.

Creates a fun and inviting learning environment to ensure a positive member experience. Builds strong relationships with participants and continually recommends swim classes based on skill levels.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Greets, acknowledges, engages and interacts with swimmers at all times.
2. Creates an educational, safe and inviting experience for all swim participants.
3. Initiates, develops and maintains positive relationships with swim participants.
4. Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
5. Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area.

Pay rates for MSA swim instructors:

• 0-1 year of  experience Group $17/hr and Privates $28/hr
• Over 1 full year of experience Group $18.50/hr and Private $30/hr
• 2-3 full years of experience Group $20/hr and Private $30/hr
• 4-5 full years of experience Group $21.50/hr and Private $35/hr
• 6 + plus full years of experience Group $23.00/hr and Private $35/hr

Experienced swim lessons instructors preferred. Afternoon-early evenings hours during the week mostly Monday-Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. (3pm-630pm, Sat. 930am-2pm) Can work multiple days or only one day per week. 4-20 hours per week.
